Hello,

As I am sure you know, my training as a school psychologist is extensive. My training has prepared me to do all the following:

  • Engage in school-wide mental health activities
  • Engage in crisis prevention and intervention services, this also includes being proactive and helping put systems in place before a crisis occurs
  • Research and implement systems level approaches aimed at school-wide initiatives for academic and behavioral support
  • Assist educators in implementing safe, healthy classroom and school environments
  • Assess and evaluate the wide variety of school-related problems and assets of children and youth in assigned schools
  • Intervene directly with students and families through individual counseling, support groups, and skills training
  • Serve as a member of interdisciplinary teams to address needs of at-risk students and to serve the needs of students with disabilities through the special education assessment, eligibility, and placement process
  • Engage in crisis prevention and intervention services, this also includes being proactive and helping put systems in place before a crisis occurs
  • Work with a wide range of student emotional and academic issues

Unfortunately, I am finding that most of my time is spent on just a few of the activities listed above. As a highly trained professional I feel I am being under-utilized, but I also understand the importance of keeping up with my ever-growing case load. I found a tool that can help me expedite the report writing and evaluation process so I can focus on some other pertinent goals of our district. I am requesting that the access of this tool is built into our district’s budget. For the year I can be granted full access for only $250 and I know that the return on investment, as far as what I will be able to accomplish outside of report writing, will be substantial.

If you have any questions about the tool, please let me know. More information about it can also be found on their website: www.schoolpsychclickreport.com

Thank you for your consideration.
